Glacier is a paradise for adventurous visitors seeking to see more of the wilderness. The drive from Thompson Falls to Glacier is approximately 167 Miles, 3 hours driving time. The drive goes by fast because of the beauty that surrounds you. Everywhere you go in the state of Montana the topography changes. Just when you think it’s stunning and can’t get any better it does. You will need to make a reservation to visit Glacier.

 

Please keep in mind that a vehicle reservation is required for four areas of the park: Going-to-the-Sun Road, the North Fork, Two Medicine, and Many Glacier. Each location has unique details and requires a separate reservation. Make your reservations HERE

 

Thompson Falls offers TOUR MONTANA 200 the Sanders County Historic Byway called “Road to the Buffalo. The points of interest are Majestic Mountains, and Serene Valleys. Ranging from the Cabinet Mountains Wilderness of 94,272 acres with clean pure waters.  Ross Creek Cedars, Heron Rapids, Blue Slide, Historic Thompson Falls, Koo-Koo Sint Ridge, Bad Rock Trail, and National Bison Range.
